Unboxing Your Device

Welcome to your new device! Let's get you started with the unboxing process.

What's in the Box

Your package should contain the following items:

  • Hardware wallet device
  • USB cable
  • Recovery seed cards
  • Quick start guide
  • Security seal verification card

Verify Security Seals

Before proceeding, verify that all security seals are intact. If any seals are broken or missing, do not use the device and contact support immediately.

Verification Steps

  1. Check the box for any signs of tampering
  2. Verify the holographic seal on the device
  3. Ensure the USB cable is in original packaging

Initial Setup Process

Now that you've verified your device, let's complete the initial setup.

Step 1: Connect Your Device

Connect your device to your computer using the provided USB cable.

Step 2: Install Companion Software

Visit the official website and download the companion application for your operating system.

Step 3: Create Your Wallet

Follow the on-screen instructions to create your new wallet:

  1. Click "Create New Wallet"
  2. Set a strong PIN (6-8 digits recommended)
  3. Write down your recovery seed
  4. Verify your recovery seed

Important Security Notes

Never share your recovery seed with anyone. Store it in a secure location separate from your device.

Creating Your Backup

Your recovery seed is the most important part of your setup. This 24-word phrase can restore your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.

Writing Down Your Seed

  1. Use the provided recovery seed cards
  2. Write clearly and legibly
  3. Double-check each word
  4. Store in a fireproof, waterproof location

Seed Verification

After writing down your seed, the device will ask you to verify it by entering specific words from your seed phrase.

Multiple Backup Locations

Consider creating multiple copies stored in different secure locations:
